But all Wehrmacht soldiers killing in the occupied territories, including civilians. Every second Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian family lost at least one person. The loss of the Slavs in the second world war are, by the most conservative estimates, 80 million people. It was the genocide of my people.
With all due respect, sir, I am not denying the fact that there were German troops under Nazi leadership laid waste to much of Belarus, Ukraine, the Baltics and Western Russia. I'm just saying that there were numerous Wehrmacht soldiers who where just fighting for their country, and wanted nothing to do with those sick fucks known as the Einsatzgruppen, or the brutal SS, who did perpetrate the greatest crime in human history. And no offense, but some of the men of the Red Army weren't exactly the nicest of people either. Hell, in the Pacific American troops routinely cut off Japanese body parts as war trophies Point is, it doesn't do to apply blanket terms of good and evil to an entire nationality worth of soldiers in any war.
Nevertheless, I still hold a high respect for the many brave soldiers of the Red Army who toppled Hitler's Reich. The Germans would have easily shattered the Normandy invasion had they not lost so many men in the East fighting at Moscow, Stalingrad and Kursk, amongst other locations. And it was the Red Army that, despite suffering horrific losses, managed to push into Berlin and secure the German capital. Without Russia, the Allies would have easily lost the European war.
Another thing, this time for LotharZhou: You might want to consider withdrawing all your works from the "Werwolf1945" group. I think we can all agree they're a bunch of crazies in denial of the past.
Now your position is clear to me. Sorry I took you for a fan of ideas Nazi Germany. Your drawings themselves I really liked. Once again I apologize. I am surprised and upset by the existence of "Werwolf1945". In the countries of the former Soviet Union, it is forbidden by law any manifestation of Nazism. Not properly glorify the killers.
